A recent study reveals that 7 of the top 10 skills employers want in college graduates are soft skills. According to LinkedIn hiring managers are having trouble finding employees with the right soft skills for 59% of their open jobs.

According to research carried out by the Carnegie Institute of Technology, 85% of financial success is the product of one’s personality and ability to communicate, negotiate, and lead, and only 15% is due to technical knowledge.

Without a clear understanding of soft skills in the Canadian workplace and how candidates are actually being evaluated in the job seeking process, countless professionals are unlikely to connect their technical skills and qualifications with real job opportunities. As a result, many capable candidates never see their full career-potential maximized.

This dynamic and engaging session provides job seekers an essential understanding of what specific soft skills are needed to make the best possible impression, and maximize their potential for career advancement in Canada.
