Women in Conflict with the Law program will assist four cohorts of high risk women to address the underlying psychological issues influencing their behavior, improving their mental health reducing recidivism. All participants will take part in an eight-week psycho-educational, group-based intervention that will aim to help them to recognize and take control over the invitation to commit crimes by developing their emotional regulation knowledge and skills. The group will also help these women to recognize the impacts of their behavior on themselves, their families and the wider community. Childminding will be available to support the participation of women with small children.
