Francophone Settlement Services

Francophone Settlement Services

Francophone Settlement Services offer a full range of settlement services, workshops and programs to support the successful settlement and integration of French speaking newcomers to Surrey, North Delta and surrounding region.

All services are provided in first language, in connection and involvement with the established Francophone community. This is a programme priority.  Integration with the wider Lower Mainland community is supported through workshops, classes and community connection activities.

We assist with form completion and facilitate connections to services (i.e. healthcare, housing, daycare, elementary and secondary schools, legal support, post-secondary institutions, counseling and much more).

We provide activities such as

  • Nutrition and Community Kitchens
  • Conversation groups in French and English
  • Workplace Conversation Groups
  • Workplace English
  • Parenting Workshops
  • Women’s Health & Wellness
  • Citizenship and Civic Involvement
  • Volunteering
  • Youth focused groups
  • Employment services and referrals
