5 Transportation Safety Tips

1. Wait in a busy well-lit area or indoors if you can until your transportation has arrived.
2. Keep your personal information confidential. Share as few details as you can about where you live, contact information, etc.
3. If you are travelling alone in a taxi or ride share, sit in the backseat.
4. Never be afraid to ask for help! Call 911 if you feel unsafe.
5. Share your trip! If travelling alone (especially at night), always share your trip details with a family member or friend.
