Newcomers face major challenges in accessing safe, adequate and affordable housing in the South Fraser Region.

There is a need to support and engage with South Fraser housing providers, developers and landlords, as well as provide timely information and resources to refugees and displaced Ukrainians arriving to the region.

We will establish a South Fraser Housing Working Group to help navigate housing issues in the region.

We will aim to create an online housing resource hub specific to housing for refugees and displaced Ukrainians settling in the South Fraser Region, as well as information sheets on housing topics.

Further, we will engage with affordable housing operators, non-profit housing developers and landlords in the South Fraser Region to build stronger connections and innovative housing solutions, as well as provide education on regarding housing rights and responsibilities.
