Elsewhere on this website you’ll find details about who we are and what we do: the thousands of immigrants we serve every year, the broad and growing array of innovative programs and free services they need and use, the dozens of languages we speak to provide these services, our commitment of fair wages for the more than 200 employees who work so hard for our clients and the several hundred volunteers we could not function without.
Every year 10,000 immigrants settle in Surrey, Langley, Delta and White Rock, including more than a thousand refugees. So many people to help, so many ways that DIVERSEcity can help them.
Fortunately, there are also many ways for you to help as well. The lion’s share of DIVERSEcity’s funding arrives from federal and provincial governments, and we thank them, but a proportion must come other sources, such as donations.
We also help the most vulnerable of our immigrant and refugee populations access necessities and emergency needs through our DIVERSEcity Support Fund, launched for GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, 2020. Learn more and donate here.
