Throughout this week, we are continuing to reflect on Red Dress Day, remembering the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ People. Let’s continue to honour the thousands of women taken and recognize the need for us all to listen, learn and advocate for justice and reconciliation. It was in 2010, Métis artist Jaime Black-Morsette created the REDress Project as an art installation consisting of placing red dresses in public spaces as a call for justice for the missing. Now, 15 years later, Jaime is bringing together stories behind the project in a new anthology, which can be pre-ordered via www.jaimeblackartist.com/exhibitions/. We are looking forward to reading REDress: Art, Action, and the Power of Presence, and adding it to our new DIVERSEcity staff resource library.#MMIWG #MMIWG2S ... See MoreSee Less

Our seniors’ social meal volunteers make waves in our Community Kitchen! Every meal prepared and served creates kindness that goes far beyond the table. Our volunteers not only nourish our seniors but also foster connections. Each meal becomes a symbol of generosity, inspiring others to give back and strengthening the bonds between generations and communities.
