At DIVERSEcity’s 43rd Annual General Meeting, we presented the winners of the the following awards and bursaries, each in honour of a beloved late staff member.
The awards include:
• The Maria Celaje Bursary, which recognizes a youth employment success story. The winner is Ahmed Abdullah.
• The Funke Ilumoka Bursary, which recognizes a food security champion. The winner is Jennifer Gomez.
• The Tom Kwok Award, which recognizes a community volunteer or leader in an ethno-cultural community. The winner is Vandna Saxena.
