Pathway to Kinship: Bridging Indigenous and Settler Communities
This workshop bridges Indigenous and settler communities, exploring Canada’s colonial history, and Indigenous culture and resurgence. Facilitated by immigrant and Indigenous leaders, it covers key topics like the Indian Act, residential schools and UNDRIP, equipping participants with tools for allyship and reconciliation. Featuring facilitators Kim Haxton & Alfred Mating.
