Today, February 15, is National Flag of Canada Day. It was 60 years ago today, at the stroke of noon on February 15, 1965, that Canada’s red and white maple leaf flag was raised for the very first time on Parliament Hill. National Flag of Canada Day was declared on the same day in 1996.The flag belongs to all Canadians and is symbol that reflects freedom, democracy and inclusion.
