To close the highlights of our Gender-Based Violence Services and resources, we want to share about our Stories of Strength program. Through the Stories of Strength program, you will receive culturally appropriate, trauma-informed training, coaching and ongoing support to facilitate open discussions within cultural communities about violence, particularly concerning women, men, seniors and youth. Become a Community Champion and be an active part of removing the stigma surrounding sexual violence and a steward in facilitating safe spaces for dialogue. ![]()

According to program coordinator Nishika, “Our trauma-aware and culturally safe approach ensures compassionate assistance for all individuals impacted by sexual violence. From accompaniments for legal, medical or justice appointments to referrals, resources, advocacy, learning options and emotional support, we are here for you on your healing journey.” ![]()

DIVERSEcity’s Sexual Violence Support Services program is open to all individuals of all ages and all genders and orientations. Referrals can be self-done or through community organizations. ![]()
