DIVERSEcity's Roots of Safety Training explores a culturally safe and respectful approach to safety planning with immigrants and refugees from a trauma-informed lens. This training is a powerful tool for service providers in their empowerment planning with immigrant populations including women, LGBTQ+, youth, adults and seniors. Held during Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, these one-day training workshops (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) will be available May 13 and May 14. Registration is $25 and will include breakfast and lunch.
