She has a proven track record of leading innovative, inclusive and equitable programs where policymaking and partnerships drive impactful change in Surrey and beyond. With a Doctorate in Leadership and Policy, she is an expert on power dynamics and multi-stakeholder collaboration. She serves as the fractional Executive Director for SACH - South Asian Community Hub Society and volunteers on multiple boards and advisories in the province, including as Chair of the Provincial Child Care Council and as an Advisor on BC’s Anti-Racism Data Committee. ![]()

2️⃣ Ingrid Broussillon, who will lead an engaging group activity, is an entrepreneur, workshop facilitator, speaker and storyteller. Founder of Griottes Polyglottes Arts & EDI Society and The WoW Culture, she is passionate about bringing play & fun into all her workshops. She is a strong believer that a good laugh can create bridges between people. Her mission is to support companies with multicultural workforces to take their DEI training, conflicts resolution and team building workshops to a new level — one that is fun, engages employees and leads to more impactful outcomes. ![]()

3️⃣ Marialejandra Reyes Valerio, who will lead a mental health check-in and reflection session, is a facilitation specialist. A passionate advocate for gender equity, Marialejandra brings a wealth of experience working with community organizations and foundations in EDI capacity building, strategic planning and leadership development. As the lead facilitator of Expansion Works, she uses holistic approaches to create inclusive spaces for meaningful connections, learning and growth. A proud Latina and woman of color entrepreneur, she brings her personal experience of forced migration from Venezuela to her work, enriching her perspective and commitment to social impact. ![]()
