At the DIVERSEcity x Minerva Women’s Leadership Forum earlier this month, one question asked of the panelists was, “What advice would you offer to women to grow, lead and #bloom?”“It's important to remember where you came from because everyone starts somewhere on the career ladder,” said Marisa Espinosa, Director, Major Studies, TransLink. “Really thinking about the legacy that you can offer for future generations is important, and any opportunity that you have, you can be a leader, whether it's in your community and your profession.” Thank you again to Marisa for sharing your perspective at our event. #ForPeopleForCommunities #IWD2025 #minervabc #surreybc #vancouverbc ... We can’t stop reflecting on the inspiring words shared at our sold-out Women’s Leadership Forum — a space where women connected and learned from a panel of inspiring women leaders. One thought-provoking question asked the panelists what advice they would offer as we continue to grow, lead and #bloom. Nadine Nakagawa, New Westminster City Councillor said, “let's go on audaciously and take up these spaces, say what we need to say and just bring people with you. Because that's how we do it in a way that that's safe and supportive for us.” Thank you again to Nadine for taking part of the event. #ForPeopleForCommunities #IWD2025 #minervabc #surreybc #newwestminster #women Minerva BC ...
