As Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2024 comes to an end tomorrow, we’d like to recognize all who bravely share their story, ask for help and help break cycles of abuse and stigma. To close the highlights of our Gender-Based Violence Services and resources, we want to share about our Stories of Strength program. Through the Stories of Strength program, you will receive culturally appropriate, trauma-informed training, coaching and ongoing support to facilitate open discussions within cultural communities about violence, particularly concerning women, men, seniors and youth. Become a Community Champion and be an active part of removing the stigma surrounding sexual violence and a steward in facilitating safe spaces for dialogue. Want a Community Champion to come speak to your community, reach out to us today!
