We can’t think of anyone better to take part in a panel on supporting grassroots non-profits at Vantage Point’s 2025 BC Non-Profit Leadership Conference than DIVERSEcity’s Sumaiyyah Adam. Along with Lisa Werring, Fatima Al-Samak, and Darla Dickinson, we are looking forward to hearing this dialogue on the structural and systemic barriers that keep grassroots organizations out of sustainable funding streams. Sumaiyyah led our B.U.I.L.D.S. Project supporting grassroots organizations in the South Fraser. Now, she’ll be leading a new iteration of the program for the BC-Yukon region! Stay tuned for more details on that!
