Direct counselling services to improve mental health and wellness in children and youth

Working with clinical counsellors from DIVERSEcity’s Child and Youth Mental Health Counselling program, children and youth will learn skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

Our services are free, compassionate, culturally informed and confidential, and available in several languages. They are offered on an individual basis and in groups.

With the help of this program, children and youth will:

  • Learn skills to better manage symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns
  • Improve coping strategies
  • Improve communication skills
  • Gain a better understanding of themselves
  • Strengthen relationships
  • Improve self-confidence

Who’s eligible?

  • Children and youth up to age 18
  • Children and youth who reside in Delta, Surrey, White Rock or Langley

Referrals for this program must come through the Government of BC’s Child and Youth Mental Health intake process here.
