Turn your talent into entrepreneurship

Are you a maker? Have a business idea? Have you wondered how to turn your creative skills into self-employment business opportunities? Join this 20+ week business incubator, funded by Canadian Western Bank, for intercultural women to learn how.

As a participant of the CWB Business Incubator for Women Entrepreneurs, you will:

  • Explore and develop business opportunities for your creative talents
  • Get one-to-one support from our self-employment specialists
  • Learn business basics and operations at our informative workshops
  • Test out your product or idea in the marketplace
  • Build a peer network with other women entrepreneurs
  • Receive ongoing support as you launch your business, either  independently or in a collective business model

Session dates

Sessions will be held online via Zoom and in small in-person groups. Current cohorts include:

Weekly sessions, 10 am – 3 pm

  • Wednesdays, December 8, 2021 to April 27, 2022
  • Thursdays, January 13, 2022 to May 26, 2022
  • Fridays, February 4, 2022 to June 17, 2022
  • Wednesdays, May 4, 2022 to July 6, 2022

Eligibility

Preference will be given to intercultural women who have marketable maker skills and product ideas and are legally entitled to work in Canada.
