Turn your talent into entrepreneurship

Are you a maker? A designer? A creator? Have you wondered how to turn your skills into self-employment business opportunities? Join this 20+ week business incubator, funded by Canadian Western Bank, for intercultural women to learn how.

As a participant of the CWB Business Incubator for Women Makers and Creators, you will:

  • Explore and develop business opportunities for your creative talents
  • Get one-to-one support from our self-employment specialists
  • Learn business basics and operations at our informative workshops
  • Test out your product or idea in the marketplace
  • Build a peer network with other women entrepreneurs
  • Receive ongoing support as you launch your business, either  independently or in a collective business model

Upcoming sessions

Sessions will be held online via Zoom and in small in-person groups. There are spots available for three cohorts:

November 13, 2020 to April 2, 2021
Fridays, 10 am – 3 pm
January 14, 2021 to June 3, 2021
Thursdays, 10 am – 3 pm
March 17, 2021 to July 21, 2021
Wednesdays, 10 am – 3 pm

Eligibility

Preference will be given to intercultural women who have  marketable maker skills and product ideas and are legally entitled to work in Canada.
