Early Years Outreach Services for Newcomers + Weekly Drop-in

Learn parenting skills and help your children thrive!

DIVERSEcity’s Early Years Outreach Workers support new immigrants with children from birth to six years old to find information, connection and community. Through one-on-one outreach services and a weekly drop-in on Wednesdays, we will help you:

  • Learn about parenting in Canada and children’s development through workshops
  • Access newcomer settlement services and English language programs
  • Connect to community resources, such as food banks, libraries and StrongStart programs

Free bus tickets, snacks and childminding will be provided.

Who’s eligible?

Permanent resident families who live in Surrey and speak Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Hindi or English.

Join us for the weekly drop-in!

Registered families are invited to our weekly drop-in session on Wednesdays, 3–5 pm, at Umoja Operation Compassion Society (#208 – 14888 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC).
