Choose to Move

DIVERSEcity is pleased to offer the free Choose to Move program for seniors. The 12-week program provides older adults (age 55 and up) with the motivation and support to become more active and integrate activity into your daily routine, meet new friends and make a positive change!

You will work with a trained activity coach who helps you develop a plan made just for you. When it gets tough, you will have the support from your coach and a group of peers, who, just like you, are choosing health — they are choosing to move.

In Choose to Move, you receive both individual and group support:​

  • Work one-on-one with a trained activity coach to create a tailor-made physical activity plan to meet your health and fitness goals choosing activities that you know you will enjoy and can do, from walking to yoga to gardening!
  • Connect with like-minded peers for eight dynamic group meetings. Share your goals, stay accountable to your plans, and explore a wide range of health and wellness topics together. It’s more than just a program; it’s a warm and supportive community, cheering you on at every step of your journey.

In-house and outreach sessions are available in English and Mandarin.
